Personal
I have lived in Mt Gambier with my wife and young son for the past 3 years and we enjoy the combination of challenging rural medicine in conjunction with a relaxing rural lifestyle. My increased role in rural teaching of medical and allied health students ensures that knowledge and skills are constantly updated and honed. There are good services in town ranging from education to retail and I enjoy getting down to the coast for relaxation and enjoyment of the rugged beaches and cliffs. In the past I have been Captain of my school’s Chess Team when winning the Victorian Chess Championship so I still enjoy playing when I get the opportunity. Mount Gambier’s famous Blue Lake is great to walk around with Blue Wrens and wallabies common sights.
